Frequently asked questions

Planning your bridal makeup is an important part of your wedding preparations, and I want to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Here are some of the most common questions brides ask:

I always include the bride’s first trial as standard in the price. Any other trials are optional. Travel can be quoted on location

I recommend booking as early as possible—many brides secure their date up to 2 years in advance, especially for peak wedding season and Saturdays. Once your date and venue are confirmed, it’s worth enquiring so you don’t miss out. If your wedding is sooner, still get in touch—sometimes last-minute availability does happen.

If you’re booking mobile bridal makeup, travel is priced based on distance, time, and location, so it’s fair and accurate for your venue/getting-ready address. Once you share your postcode (and wedding venue if different), I’ll confirm the travel cost clearly in advance—no surprises. Early morning starts, parking, or longer-distance locations may affect the final travel quote.

Your bridal makeup trial can take place either in-studio (if applicable) or by arrangement, depending on what works best for you. Trials usually take aroundan hour, allowing time to talk through your ideas, skin type, and wedding details. We’ll test products, perfect the look, and make sure it photographs beautifully and lasts.

Touch-up time can often be added depending on your wedding morning schedule and location. If you’d like me to stay for photos, after-ceremony touch-ups, or before the evening reception, just mention it when booking and I’ll confirm availability and pricing. I can also advise on a simple touch-up plan (lip product, powder) if you don’t need full coverage support.

I generally give roughly an hour per person!

To secure your wedding date, a deposit is required and your booking is only confirmed once it’s received. After your enquiry, I’ll confirm availability, your bridal party details, and any travel costs, then share the deposit amount and payment details. The remaining balance is usually due closer to the wedding date (I’ll confirm the exact timing when you book).
